Wow! A lot has happened...
We moved across country in July....from beautiful Bozeman, MT to beautiful Columbus, Ohio! It's been wonderful here too....though we miss the mountains...we do have a forest and a stream.
I've started a new collaboration with a colleague from my Gallery in Bozeman, MT. Jess Tode is a wooden bowl maker extraordinaire! He makes stunning wooden bowls, vases and (very soon) bracelets.....and I paint them. Below are some of the pictures from this collaboration. I am not selling them on the website, since they always go back to MT to the Gallery. But, if you decide you are interested in any....please give The Artists' Gallery in Bozeman a call....they will send you pictures of the bowls/vases currently available. They are at 406-587-2127. I just got invited to the 34th Annual Celebration of Craftswomen in San Francisco, CA! I'm very excited. This is the largest Women's Craft show in the United States. It will be on the weekends of November 24-25th and December 1-2, 2012. Check out their website at:www.celebrationofcraftswomen.org 
Newest card in progress: "Fishing you a Happy Birthday" available soon. Notice the water falling off the fish is musical notes!
I've been working on a few logos. Here is the latest:
This is for the Opera Bozeman Run. It is a fabulous run (1 mile, 5K and 10 MILE).....all distances have Opera singers serenading them at water stations.......and lots of viking hats with braids. What a fun event. It will take place again next Fall on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at 8am....at Lindley Park. I am also currently working on two new pieces called "Obsession I" (a series of fish) and "Woman of Faith" (20x24)). I'll try to get a photo up of the progress on each.
Christmas Ornaments: Most of the paintings were sold as Christmas Ornaments this year. I put their images onto small wood blocks and they were lovely. I am in the process of making ceramic ornaments of the images. I'll keep you posted about when those will be offered as a sale item.
For the S.L.A.M. Festival (August 4 and 5 in Bozeman, MT) I will offer smaller, framed prints of Mighty Grandma, Festive Boots and Fish Mom. They will be framed with bright, colorful matting.
Barrettes: I am also in the process of creating barrettes from the images you see on the website. Those will be offered around the same time as the Christmas Ornaments.
Pendants and earrings: After the production of the ornaments and barrettes. I will move on to Jewelry items. I will update the progress of this as well.
